Fashion's inspiration and influence can come from all sources. My love of vintage, earth tones, and fashion in the 20th century (minus the 80s and 90s, because that is not vintage...people) comes from my influences and inspirations of old photos of family decades ago, fashion magazines when editorial risks was a given and appreciated, and women such as Bianca Jagger, Naomi Sims, Lena Horne, Diana Ross, even Angela Davis all brought a style and set a tone within the fashion industry that has tried to be duplicated but not done so well.The picture you see above, if you are anyone born between 1972-1979, remember such school pictures and clothing. I think of this as such a simpler time. See how well the blue and brown mix with the brown of the wood and background forest...just kidding. If I had it my way navy blue and white would of been my choice of colors, plus a nice lil mini dress. There are pigtails...a mini dress is must.
